Each of Pastel White’s Mazes act as a visual analogy. In the case of Libertarianism the analogy is for a branch of philosophy exploring free will.

In short, Libertarianism (in relation to free will) argues that free will exists. Meaning that we, as free agents, can choose between two or more options and, that that choice is not predetermined by God’s ‘plan’, the laws of cause and effect or the state of your brain etc…

The way the idea of Libertarianism is explored in this maze is that the viewer is asked to navigate outwards from the central dot. As the viewer plots their course they make decisions on which way to go: left, right, up and down. But no matter which choice they make they all lead to multiple exit points from the maze.
